Welcome to the ANPS Canberra Plant Database.

This database contains information on over 3,000 native plants that are suitable for Canberra Region and other cool climate gardens as well as some plants that occur naturally in the region but aren’t yet in cultivation. To find plants, enter the name or one of a number of characteristics and then click on SEARCH. You will get a list of plants that fit your search criteria and you can then click on the appropriate ones for detailed information on that plant.

Please note that unless specified, all plants are frost tolerant.
